Cryo-EM Introduction and Application for JEM-2100PLUS

Cryo-EM Introduction and Application for JEM-2100PLUS

Introduction:
The native structure of biomaterials, such as proteins, extracellular vesicles and liposomes were usually susceptible to chemical fixation, alcohol dehydration and electron beam radiation damage during TEM imaging.
Cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) is a powerful tool for the morphological characterization in recent years. The specimen is conserved in a vitreous ice and observed at liquid nitrogen temperatures (-180 ℃). Besides, the cryo-EM structure investigated from vitrified biological samples flash-frozen in their near-native state.
Welcome to participate the cryo-EM course on 5/5, and the demonstration for cryo-EM sample preparation only allows 5 people for each time (5/6-5/7). Thank you.
